  • Inventory data (e.g. name and addresses of customers),
  • Contract data (e.g services used)
  • Usage data (e.g. pages visited on our website) and
  • Content data (e.g. entries in online forms).

B. Specifics

Privacy policy
We guarantee that we process your data only in connection with the processing of your enquiries and for internal purposes as well as to provide services or content requested by you.

Principles for Data Processing
We process your personal data only in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations. Legal sources are:

  • Processing to safeguard our legitimate interests, Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f) GDPR

Transmission of Data to Third Parties
We would like to point out that when using our website, data may be transmitted.

Your data will only be passed on to third parties within the framework of the legal requirements. We only pass on your data if this is necessary, for example, for contractual purposes or on the basis of legitimate interests in the economic and effective operation of our business operations.

If we use subcontractors to provide our services, we take appropriate legal precautions as well as appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data in accordance with the relevant legal regulations.

In general, your personal data is passed on to the AKI Akademie Komplementär- & Informationsmedizin GmbH for the provision and processing of training, consulting and training. The transfer of personal data takes place on the basis of consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. a) GDPR, insofar as consent has been given.

Transmission of Data to a Third Party Country or an International Organisation
Third party countries are defined as countries in which the GDPR is not directly applicable. Generally, this includes all countries outside the EU or European Economic Area.

Data is transmitted to a third party country or an international organisation.

The fact that we use Google Maps and videos from YouTube on our website means that data is transferred to a third country (here USA) or an international organisation, provided that you have given us your consent in accordance with Article 49 Paragraphi 1 lit. a) GDPR. According to the current legal situation, the USA is considered a country with an insufficient level of data protection. There is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for control and monitoring purposes. There are currently no appeals against this practice.

Retention Period of your Personal Data
We adhere to the principles of data economy and data avoidance. This means that we only store your data for as long as it fulfils the aforementioned purposes or as determined by the various storage periods provided for by law. If the respective purpose no longer applies or after expiry of the corresponding deadlines, your data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

We have designed a concept within the business to guarantee this procedure.

Contact
If you contact us via the website, you agree to electronic communication. As part of the electronic contact with us, personal data is processed. The information you provide will be stored exclusively for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions.

We would like to point out that e-mails can be read or changed without authorization and unnoticed during the transmission route. Furthermore, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that we use software for filtering unwanted e-mails (spam filters). The spam filter can reject e-mails if they have been incorrectly identified as spam due to certain characteristics.

You also have the possibility to book a consultation appointment on our website. For this we use the WordPress Booking plugin called Amelia. The provider is Milutina Milankovica 11b 11000 Beograd/Serbia. Since this is a widget that we have integrated on our website, there is no data transfer to the provider. The data provided by you in the context of the appointment booking will be processed exclusively by us in order to enable you to book a consultation appointment.

We would like to give you the legal sources:

  • Processing for the fulfilment of our services and implementation of contractual measures
    Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b) GDPR.

g) Right to object
You have the possibility at any time to object to the processing of your data in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. e) and f) for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.

Protection of your personal data
We take contractual, technical and organizational security measures according to the state of the art to ensure that the data protection laws are complied with and thus to protect the processed data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorized persons.

The security measures include, in particular, the encrypted transmission of data between your browser and our server. A 256-bit SSL (SHA-256 ECDSA) encryption technology is used for this.

c) Maintaining the availability of your personal data
In order to preserve the availability of your data stored with us, we have taken various measures for application and availability control.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise this revocation, you can deactivate this service in the “Cookie Consent Tool” provided on the website or in the settings for the privacy policy information.

According to information from “YouTube”, these cookies are used, among other things, to record video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent abusive practices. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account when you click on a video. If you do not want the assignment to your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the button.

Google saves your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, although you must contact YouTube to exercise this right. Regardless of whether or not the embedded videos are played, a connection to the Google network is established each time this website is accessed, which can trigger further data processing operations beyond our control. Further information on the privacy policy of “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy

Facebook Pixel for the creation of Custom Audiences
On our website, we also use the so-called “Facebook Pixel” of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”).

When you click on an advertisement placed by us and played on Facebook, an addition is added to the URL of our linked page by Facebook Pixel. If our site allows data sharing with Facebook through Pixel, this URL parameter will place a cookie in your browser through our website. This cookie is then read by Facebook Pixel and allows the data to be forwarded to Facebook.

Through the Facebook Pixel, Facebook can determine the visitors to our website as a target group for the display of ads (so-called “Facebook Ads”).
We use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Facebook (so-called “Custom Audiences”). In addition, we also evaluate the effectiveness of our Facebook ads for statistical or market research purposes by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called “conversion”).

The data collected does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data may enable Facebook as well as its partners to place advertisements on and outside of Facebook.

The data processing associated with the use of the Facebook Pixel will only take place with your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, remove the check mark next to the setting for the “Facebook Pixel” in the “Cookie Consent Tool” embedded on the website.

Changes to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to adapt our privacy policy at short notice so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. This can, for example, relate to the introduction of new services. The privacy policy information will then apply to your next visit.
