Two cats with dermatitis

Dr. med. vet. J. H.

Patients: Cats, tortoiseshell and persian, female, 5 und 6 years old

Case history: For three years the two sterilised animals had been given cortisone every fortnight at various clinics because they suffered from severe itching with crusty dermatitis and red skin. They positively glowed when touched. The cats were no longer able to live without their cortisone injections.

Therapy: Samples were taken on site of all materials with which the cats came into contact; (covers, cleaning agents, curtains, animal food, etc.). The allergen resonance test clearly revealed an animal food allergy to protein and certain preservatives. Only one session of BICOM allergy therapy was administered. Afterwards the allergies disappeared.

Result: The animals' condition soon normalised. No longer any itching or scabby patches on the skin.

Treatment for dog with parasites

T.G., vet

Patient: Dog, male, mongrel, around 5 - 6 weeks old

Case history: The dog was brought in on 12 June 1998 in a pitiful state. Its coat had fallen out particularly in the head and chest area. All the signs spoke of a massive parasitic infestation.

Course of therapy: 1st treatment on 12 June 1998. It was treated symptomatically and a blood sample was taken.

On 15 June the dog's owners came into the surgery asking for the animal to be put down. However we did not put the dog down but administered a holistic therapy. Testing revealed severe stress of the connective tissue, the lymphatic and immunological systems as well as demodicidosis and ascariasis. Due to the severity of its condition, the dog was treated daily for four consecutive days at the start of therapy, then at intervals of between 4 and 7 days.

The demodicidosis and ascarides were treated, the immunological system was built up and the connective tissue and lymphatic system strengthened and detoxified.

Treatment followed testing of the 5 element theory. Treatment cycles always contained a basic BICOM programme and a follow-up programme such as toxin elimination. Therapy was accompanied by orthomolecular substitution and Heel's complex homeopathic remedies.

After 13 short sessions therapy was concluded successfully  on 10 August 1998  (left-hand photo). The dog was given to a forest warden who was a friend. The symptoms have not recurred for a year.

Dachshund with a slipped disk

Dr. med. vet. R. M.

Patient: Wire-haired dachshund, 4 years old, female.

Case history: The dog suffered a slipped disk after jumping from the car. The X-ray confirmed that disk material was already visible in the spinal canal.

Therapy: Therapy was administered three times; at intervals of two days using the BICOM slipped disk programme. The animal's condition improved spontaneously after just one session.

Result: The animal is now symptom-free after three sessions.

Golden hamster with a broken hind foot

Dr. med. vet. M. V.

Patient: Golden hamster, 1 year old

Diagnosis: Broken hind foot

Case history: The animal had apparently got caught in its wheel breaking its hind foot. As palpation showed, the foot was completely broken, blue and swollen

Therapy: BICOM programme for basic therapy and all types of injury

Result: The hamster was brought into the surgery two days later. The swelling in the foot had completely subsided and the sound of crepitation could no longer be heard.  The foot was certainly not completely straight because it could not be held in place but the owner was pleased to report that, one day after treatment, the hamster could already put its weight on its foot and the swelling had disappeared. Golden hamsters do heal very rapidly but, in this case, the therapy had definitely reduced the healing period by half.

Rabbit with severe itching

Dr. med. vet. M. K.

Patient: Rabbit

Diagnosis: Severe itching

Case history: The rabbit suffered from severe itching and had been treated with conventional medicine without success.

Therapy: The allergen resonance test revealed an allergy to hay and aspergillus infestation. Therapy with the allergy programme. Treated 3 times in all, the two substances were treated separately in each session.

Result: No more itching for over four months.
