Pain following comminuted fracture of the elbow Dr. med. P.-G. V. Patient: R. E., 48 years old, female. Case history: The patient is left-handed and, in an accident 11 years ago, sustained a comminuted fracture of the elbow which was treated surgically with osteosynthesis. Since then she has experienced severe pain which was not really controlled by antirheumatic agents. Therapy: I first applied BICOM basic therapy following conductivity testing, then follow-up therapy for pain in the bones following an accident. The device's input and output were connected to the magnetic depth probe and the painful area stroked in a circular motion. |
This therapy was repeated on three consecutive days, after which the patient was symptom-free. The symptoms reappeared after a few weeks. The above therapy combination was repeated three times, after which the pain disappeared again and the patient remained symptom-free for about five months. When the pain recurred again, I repeated the therapy once more and the patient has remained symptom-free to this day, nine months since the last treatment. Result: Since being treated, the patient has been playing tennis left-handed without any pain and is extremely satisfied with the treatment. |
