Knee injury Dr. med. H. L. Patient: R. L. female, 29 years old, professional horse rider. Diagnosis: The patient's right knee sustained serious injury when kicked by a horse. The knee joint was not damaged however. The patient twisted her foot when she fell so that the ankle was badly swollen. The patient's boot had to be cut to release her from this position. Therapy: First BICOM basic therapy was carried out in accordance with the mean from quadrant testing. The sports injury programme was applied as |
follow-up programme. By the following day the patient was already able to drive herself to my surgery. The same BICOM programmes were applied once more as at the start, but this time with BRT minerals being individualised for her to take. On the evening of the same day and the following morning she received the above BICOM therapy once more. Result: On the second day she was already walking freely. The swelling had receded. The leg was still slightly blue and she still had difficulty walking for any length of time. The following day she had to take a combined test (similar to a three-day event) with two horses, a hard test. She had already recovered to such an extent that she even won a place with one horse. |
