In January 1997, to ensure the highest quality and safety levels, Regumed GmbH became the first bioenergetic therapy business to be certified under the Medical Devices Directive (MDD) 93/42/EEC as well as the Medizinproduktegesetz (MPG) [Medical Devices Act].

At the same time the Institut für Regulative Medizin (Institute for regulative medicine) and, with it, the entire seminar programme was accredited to DIN ISO 9002 . The Institut für Regulative Medizin (Institute for regulative medicine) is the first and only institution offering seminars in the field of bioenergetic medicine to ensure its seminars are of a consistently high standard through the introduction of a quality management system.
